A strong network of Community Food Mentors (CFMs) has been established in the Saint John area. Ranging from Sussex to St. Andrews, in total about 50 participants have been trained since 2012. CFMs represent a diverse group of individuals and community organizations all working towards a common goal of increasing food security. To become a Community Food Mentor, participants completed five days of training. For more information, to have a look at their newsletter or to contact a lead person to get involved, visit their dedicated webpage on the New Brunswick Food Security Action Network’s website.
