HEPAC helps strengthen the ability of New Brunswickers to impact the wellness levels in their communities through professional development and networking opportunities, improved access to evidence-based information and best practices resources, tools and support.

Healthy Mouth, Healthy Body – brochure

This information is part of the New Brunswick Dental Society’s campaign to remind New Brunswickers that a healthy mouth is important at every age, and to reinforce the idea that good oral health can help with good overall health. It is aimed at families and seniors in particular, because as we get older, our mouth changes as our body changes. The brochure provide details about the changes you can expect to see in your mouth and teeth and gives some tips to maintain a beautiful, youthful-looking smile. Inspired and Well – A Toolkit on Mental Fitness for Seniors

Healthy aging is an adventurous journey. It is about taking steps that are important to you and using opportunities to take care of yourself. This toolkit offers tips and ideas on how you can maintain a positive sense of well-being and enhance your mental fitness. It can be used individually or with groups who want to have discussions on the topic of mental fitness and healthy aging. It includes activity sheets to fill out and many links to other relevant resources.

Live Well | Bien vivre

Live Well | Bien Vivre (LW|BV) is a Health Coaching program residing with Diabetes Canada and funded by the Government of New Brunswick. Free and accessible to anyone 19 and older, their Health Coaches are present in various regions across the province working to support clients in the pursuit of their wellness goals. Their unique approach guides clients through stages of change, while connecting participants with community resources and supporting self determination.
