The Friends of Mactaquac Park is a volunteer group working on supporting and preserving the health, wellness and viability of Mactaquac Provincial Park through advocacy, promotion, education and recreation. Objectives: create, promote and help facilitate cultural, recreational and environmental events at Mactaquac Provincial Park; create, promote and assist with environmental education programs for all ages at MPP; promote and facilitate upgrades and general maintenance of the existing trails system, including paths, boardwalks, and rest/viewing areas, and to improve directional, informational and interpretive signage; create, promote and assist with developing new recreational opportunities along with improving and maintaining existing venues and equipment.
