A Food Charter is a vision of values, principles and priorities that address food security. Community members, food distributors, food producers, institutions and policy-makers can endorse the charter by signing it and voluntarily committing to actions that will uphold the principles that are outlined. Good Food Greater Fredericton has been working  with the help of its many partners and community members throughout the region to create a Greater Fredericton Food Charter. A draft of the document is available on their website. The final version of the Food Charter is expected to be released in the Spring of 2016 along with a Food Charter Toolkit that will help eaters to connect with the resources they need to uphold the principles in the charter.
