Around The Block is a community newspaper that focuses on the positive growth and cooperation within the priority neighbourhoods of the Saint John area (Old North End, Lower West Side, Lower South End, Crescent Valley-Anglin Drive and Waterloo-Village). The paper celebrates stories written by the residents in the neighbourhood communities, with pictures provided by volunteer amateur photographers from the community, and stories that speak of pride and trust. The pride that is shared by all communities is front and center in each issue; these are the stories that connect us with each other. Communities learn from each other, share knowledge and experience hands on learning. Around the Block also has pages that feature youth, non profits, and community agencies. The many services provided by the local non-profits on a regular basis and service groups are featured in every issue.
